These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website https://www.megapixelcamera.in/ (the "Site") and all products and services offered by Megapixel Camera Store ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site and purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. General Conditions

 

• Acceptance: By using our Site or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and all incorporated policies, including the Privacy Policy, Shipping & Returns Policy, and Warranty Policy.

• Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.

• Modifications: We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

 

2. Products and Services

 

• Product Listings: We sell new and pre-owned cameras, lenses, and accessories. We strive for accuracy, but product descriptions, prices, and availability are subject to change without notice.

• Pre-Owned Products: When purchasing pre-owned gear, the buyer acknowledges that the item is used and subject to specific limitations, particularly concerning the warranty (see Section 4).

• Custom Products (Skins/Covers): Due to the customized nature of products like camera skins, returns or exchanges for reasons other than damage or defect are not accepted. Minor design and color variations between the online listing and the physical product are not grounds for a return.

 

3. Order, Payment, and Cancellation

 

• Payment: We accept all major Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Cash Cards, and Wallets, processed by our secure payment partner, PayU.

• No Cash on Delivery (COD): We do not provide COD services. All orders must be prepaid.

• Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department.

• Cancellations:

  • A customer may request order cancellation within 12 hours of placing the order.

  • If cancellation is accepted, the refunded amount will be processed after deducting a Cancellation Fee of 18% of the total order value.

  • Except for this 12-hour window, once an order is successfully placed and processed by the payment gateway, it cannot be cancelled, and no refund will be entertained.

 

4. Shipping, Returns, and Refunds

 

• Shipping Policy:

  • Standard Shipping is free for prepaid orders within India.

  • Orders are typically delivered within a maximum of 10 working days, with most orders delivered within 6 working days.

  • We do not ship on major Indian holidays or Sundays. Working/Business days are Monday to Saturday.

• Return and Refund Policy: Items once purchased cannot be returned or the amount be refunded.

  • Exchanges/Replacements Only: Customers are eligible for replacement or exchange only if the items are damaged or if the wrong product was received.

  • Procedure for Replacement: The customer must notify our Customer Service Team within 24 hours of delivery by mail or WhatsApp, providing the original receipt and an uncut video recording of opening the parcel to prove the item was damaged or incorrect upon arrival.

  • Refund Exceptions: Refunds are considered only if:

    1. The buyer does not get the delivery of ordered products within 20 days (in India) from the order date.

    2. Megapixel Camera Store fails to ship the ordered products.

    3. The shipping location is not serviced by our contracted courier.

• Failed Delivery: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect/outdated delivery address, 3 failed delivery attempts, or refusal by the recipient, the buyer will be liable to pay INR 80 as RTO (Return to Origin) charges. No refund requests will be entertained under these circumstances; the product will be reshipped after the RTO charges are paid.

 

5. Warranty Policy

 

• General Warranty: Our warranty is only available for products purchased from Megapixel Camera Store or its authorized sellers.

• Pre-Owned Cameras and Lenses Warranty Exclusions: The warranty on pre-owned gear is limited and specifically DOES NOT COVER the following:

  • Accessories and consumables (e.g., strap, lens cap, charger, batteries, filters).

  • Rubber parts, cosmetic parts, or damage caused by an act of God (e.g., fire, water).

  • The Camera Sensor and the Card Slot.

  • Damage caused by misuse, physical damage, unauthorized modification, or repair by any party other than Megapixel Camera Store.

• Warranty Claims Process:

  • The customer is responsible for all logistics and associated costs for shipping the product to and from our service center for repair or replacement.

  • Our specialists will examine the item to determine if the defect is due to a manufacturer defect or customer misuse.

 

6. Limitation of Liability and Conduct

 

• Misuse of Goods: Goods once sold cannot be returned, and the buyer assumes all responsibility for the goods once taken out of the seller's premises. The buyer agrees to save and hold Megapixel Camera Store harmless from any claims arising, in whole or in part, out of the negligence of the buyer involving the goods supplied.

• Defamatory Conduct: We highly condemn and reserve the right to seek necessary legal remedy against any individual who takes their concerns to social media in a way that is defamatory to Megapixel Camera Store’s Brand name without first discussing the issue with our team.

• No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
