WARRANTY POLICY

Megapixel Camera Store will not take care of all logistics to and from the customer for repair and replacement. If a product was purchased from the Megapixel Camera Store website or a Megapixel Camera Store authorized seller and, at the time of purchase, contained a manufacturing defect or had been damaged by improper care prior to the time of purchase, then Megapixel Camera Store customer support team will take action on it.
Note that Megapixel Camera Store regularly updates the models, color ways, and styles of its Products and cannot guarantee the availability of an exact replacement for any Product. Megapixel Camera Store does not assume any liability for any physical or indirect damages under the limited warranty. Physical damage includes but is not limited to improper handling and/or any other type of damage sustained by irregular usage. As a result, Megapixel Camera Store will return any physically damaged Products back to the customer at the customer’s expense.


Please note that because Megapixel Camera Store is unable to supervise or control the quality of its products sold by unauthorized sellers, the warranty of Megapixel Camera Store is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers. Megapixel Camera Store’s warranty extends only to products purchased from authorized sellers that are subject to Megapixel Camera Store’s quality controls. All warranty claims must be processed through the Megapixel Camera Store website.


Our specialists will examine the item to determine whether the defect is due to manufacturer defect or misuse. 

Goods once sold cannot be returned and the buyer assumes all responsibility of goods once taken out of seller's premises physically.

Buyer agrees to save & hold Megapixel Camera Store harmless from any claims, demands, liabilities, costs, expenses or judgement arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of the negligence of buyer involving the goods supplied by Megapixel Camera Store

WARRANTY IN CASE OF BATTERIES, CHARGERS, LIGHTS, CELLS AND OTHER DIGIPLUS / DYNACAM PRODUCTS

1. Warranty Period

Digiplus products are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) months from the original date of purchase.

2. What is Covered

This warranty covers defects in the product's function that arise from normal and intended use. Digiplus will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace the product with a new or refurbished product of a similar model and function, free of charge.

3. What is NOT Covered (Warranty Exclusions)

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: The natural decrease in the battery's capacity over time. This is a characteristic of all rechargeable batteries and is not considered a defect.

  • Battery Swelling or Bloating: The physical expansion or "swelling" of the battery casing is not covered under this warranty. This is a safety mechanism and an irreversible sign of the battery reaching the end of its useful life, often caused by overcharging, improper handling, or extreme heat.

  • Misuse, Abuse, or Improper Use: Damage resulting from accidents, drops, impacts, or using the product contrary to its instructions and warnings.

  • Physical Damage: Scratches, dents, or other cosmetic damage.

  • Environmental Damage: Damage caused by exposure to moisture, water, extreme temperatures (heat or cold), sand, dust, or fire.

  • Unauthorized Repair or Modification: Any attempt to repair, modify, or open the product by anyone other than an authorized Digiplus service center will void this warranty.

  • Damage from Non-Digiplus Products: Digiplus is not responsible for any damage to your camera or other devices caused by the use of this product.

  • Battery Leakage: Damage caused to the product or other devices by a leaking battery is not covered.

  • Consequential or Incidental Damages: This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of photographs, lost business profits, or other damages related to the use of this product.

 

4. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To initiate a warranty claim, you must:

  1. Contact Megapixel customer support within the warranty period.

  2. Provide a clear and legible copy of the original purchase receipt or invoice, showing the date of purchase.

  3. You may be asked to provide photographs or videos of the product defect to assist in the initial assessment.

  4. If the claim is approved, you will be given instructions on how to return the defective product.

 

5. Customer Obligations

  • The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product to our service center.

  • You must securely package the product to prevent damage during transit.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

The sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement as provided above. The warranty period for any repaired or replaced product shall be the remaining portion of the original warranty period.

7. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of India. The courts of Delhi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising hereunder.

 

WARRANTY IN CASE OF PREOWNED CAMERAS AND LENSES

The warranty in case of preowned cameras does not cover accessories and consumables, like Case, Strap, Lens Cap, Charger, Batteries, Adapter, Lens Filter, External Flashlights, Rubber Parts, Cosmetic Parts etc.

Warranty does not cover damage caused due to act of God & force major events including but not limited to fire or water damage, electrical disturbances and events mentioned below when the warranty of the Product(s) will become null and void:

A. The Product is physically damaged

B. The Product(s) is modified, repaired, maintained and /or opened ,disassembled by any party other than Megapixel Camera Store and damage arising out of unauthorized modification, repair, and alteration.

C. No. Warranty of Camera Sensor and Card Slot

Any disputes arising in connection with this Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of India. The courts of Delhi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising hereunder.
